Anyone who follows real news, and not fake news, knows that Pete Hegseth deserves to be confirmed this evening as President Donald J. Trump’s choice to be his Defense Secretary.
An impeccable resume as both a Harvard and Princeton University Ivy League graduate, U.S. Army Captain veteran with two bronze stars, financial analyst and television political commentator exceeds by far any nominee brought forward by the Democrat Party in some time.
This noted, the leftist media who has branded themselves now as the “legacy media,” has worked long and hard with their usual falsehoods to smear and disrepute this man with their usual narratives of anything negative that are usually from the lowest tier in terms of defamation.
Hegseth has acknowledged in his personal life he has erred like the majority of people throughout time, but he has lived a happy and successful career and role as a father and husband for years now.
The vote should absolutely confirm Pete Hegseth. There are few people who could have the resume he does to present for confirmation tonight and for those who do have the same experience, you understand. For those who don’t, you should have respect for this exceptional nominee and vote yes for Pete Hegseth.
All supporters of President Trump and his cabinet choices expect former Senate Majority and Minority Leader, Mitch McConnell to vote YES on this confirmation. Alaska really needs to work on finding a new Republican U.S. Senator to serve their state as this liberal representative does not uphold their voters policies or values in Washington.
Winning large with the Electoral College and the popular vote, the American people have spoken.

Congratulations to the most formidable man, former President, and President-Elect, Donald J. Trump, I’ve ever seen in my lifetime. His Vice President-elect, J.D. Vance has the most impressive and accomplished story I’ve heard of following politics and all that it brings with candidates.
Thank you to all who still check out my blog to see if I’ve written anything new. There are reasons I have not, one of them including fear of arrest under the communist regime, as they focused on American patriots no matter how small.
Putting this behind me, hopefully, I have many things I will be posting in upcoming days, including:

How the Democrats are still not conceding races they clearly lost and as the great Rush Limbaugh used to say, extra counting time only meant that the counters were looking for Democrat votes.
Happy New Year everyone. The House vote continues tonight in Washington, D.C. as votes dial down to one or two needed for U.S. Congressman Kevin McCarthy (R-CA 20) to become the House Majority Speaker once again.
Why it hurts: McCarthy has been disappointing in his track record in previous terms, failing to make needed policy gains or any real difference outside of bipartisan policies that continue to fail America.
Why it needs to be done: Although U.S. Representatives have been sworn in, they are being held in recess until there is a House Speaker in the majority party. Until there is an elected House Speaker, committee assignments and important investigations can not move forward.
For my followers and viewers or those new to my blog, I encourage you to go out and vote tomorrow. America is the example of freedom still today that allows all eligible people to vote for who their government elected officials are in their state and country. Yes, your one vote does matter. We here in Connecticut have an example of one state seat being won by a single vote. This was in the early 2000’s so that end result would probably not turn out the same today. Recounts have changed dramatically since this time, despite any continued good intentions versus the bad ones that have found opportunistic results however odd to switch the outcome.
That said, candidates that deserve your vote tomorrow across the nation from state office to national seats, in my vue, are the following with quick and short notation:
Candidates for Governor:
Lee Zeldin (NY-R) Governor – I know this state well. It deserves a sounder voice for its residents/taxpayers. The by-default incumbent, Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul, trying to be elected by New York voters for the first time with elected three term Governor Andrew Cuomo having to resign after personal scandals in 2021, is in many ways worse than Cuomo.
Kari Lake (AZ-R) – very impressive candidate who has walked the walk during her entire campaign despite her democrat incumbent hiding in the basement and unwilling to debate.
Bob Stefanowski (CT-R) – his second run against trust funder and incumbent Ned Lamont. Stefanowski lost by only 44K votes in 2018. More appealing personally and hard working, over taxed and regulated voters in Connecticut are hoping he wins this November 8th, 2022.
Brian Dahle (CA) – wouldn’t it be great if California voted in Dahle over Newsom? Newsom and his supporters seem to believe he has an even greater future in politics but this is not going to happen. Having lived in CA for 14 years, I feel for the many Republicans, Conservatives and Independents who still continue to live there for needed reasons. Looking at a red/blue map, most of the state votes red but the big hubs smoke them out. It’s a sad story.
Ron DeSantis (FL-R) – Amazing Governor. Check out his resume if you are unfamiliar with it. Incredibly accomplished individual, Veteran, scholar (Yale/Harvard degrees) and politician.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders (AR) – Former Press Secretary under President Donald J. Trump (45) and daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee – she’s got it all.
Candidates for U.S. Senate that are in the five heated toss-up races going right into tomorrow plus other important contests:
Senator Ron Johnson (WI-R) – Absolutely deserves re-election. A hard worker who is sincere in his concerns about the future of our country and his state residents.
Candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz (PA-R) – who worked his way through medical school and became a success with old-fashioned hard work. His Democrat opponent is perhaps the worst candidate I’ve ever covered when reporting live or doing research. A trust funder who now perceives himself as a blue collar worker is not only dishonest in his campaign stumps to the true hard backbone of PA, but not capable of fulfilling his job if elected.
Candidate Herschel Walker (GA-R) – so impressive he had to jump so many hurdles to get where he is as an athlete. Not easy to get into the NFL let alone become a star. A team player, Herschel knows how to work the field, take a pass, block the opposition and make a touchdown whether rushing or receiving. Put him in this Senate seat so he can win the game for America.
Candidate Blake Masters (AZ-R) – a young, dedicated, strong voice for Arizona and the many problems it has with its borders and for America as an extra sound voice in the U.S. Senate.
Candidate Adam Lexalt – (NV) Another young contender to bring patriotism back to D.C. and stop the border crisis.
Candidate for U.S. Senate – General Donald Bolduc. No comparison between Bolduc and the incumbent Democrat Maggie Hassan.
Candidate for U.S. Senate – U.S. Representative Ted Budd (NC-13) from North Carolina.

Incumbent Senator Marco Rubio (FL-R) – Rubio has grown into a true patriot for our country and continues to please his state constituents and national caucus. John Kennedy LA-R is a needed voice in the South that delivers common sense for his constituents and country. Rand Paul (KY-R) is one of the most impressive men I can think of today with his medical knowledge and fortitude.
George Logan for U.S. Congress (CT-5) – A toss up race as of tonight. November 7, 2022. Only candidate I saw out on the trail most of this year with my own U.S. Senate Candidate I was an advisor for, Peter Lumaj, that could keep up with Peter. Not an easy thing. An engineer, he is a former State Senator who is a hard working family man, moderate in policy (which is good for the majority of Connecticut voters) and dedicated. The Constitution State has had zero balance in terms of party leadership since U.S. Rep. Chris Shays lost his re-election in 2008. It’s time to bring at least one Republican voice to represent Connecticut people fairly to Washington.

National Harbor, MD – The man known for more than a decade to native New Yorkers as “The Donald” took the stage this afternoon to address an enthusiastic crowd convened for the 2013 Conservative Political Action Conference celebrating its 40th anniversary on the shores of the Potomac River in Maryland. Self-made billionaire Donald Trump opened his monologue by telling the audience our country is in terrible trouble.
He cited we owed seventeen trillion dollars and have more than a trillion dollar deficit a year. “No country’s ever heard of numbers like this!” he observed. “Likewise, the Republican Party is in terrible trouble,” he continued. “As you get more and more conservative – they get nasty. They don’t like what we say.” Trump segued into the mainstream media and how the President is given unprecedented media protection.
To offer solutions on how we solve our country’s problems, Mr. Trump first pointed out how even the Tea Party, who he loves dearly, says to leave their Medicare and Social Security alone. “To keep these things affordable then the solution is to build a great economy.” “We don’t have one,” he noted. “China does.” “We have to make America great again,” he said in appeal to the room.
On the issue of immigration, Trump stated that when it comes to immigration, eleven million people will be voting Democrat. He believed a candidate can be out in front but (when it comes to Election Day) those eleven million will be voting Democrat. “Republicans are on a suicide mission,” he said. “You’re just not going to get those votes.” Donald Trump inquired further, “Why aren’t we letting Europeans in?” and told the attendees how he had many friends who want to move here and work here – that have been educated here – but we throw them out of the country after earning a degree at Harvard or Wharton and say you can’t move here – so they work somewhere else and work against us. “How stupid is that?” he asked.
The realtor and casino owner gave a nod to fellow Republican Newt Gingrich next saying he loved Newt because he was a member of his club down the road. Trump said he loved anyone who was a member of his club and jested maybe Obama should become a member. He talked about offering to build things at his own expense for Washington but never heard back from anyone.
“Conservative Republicans have to win elections,” he proclaimed. In his observations on the Republican Party, Trump said “Governors are saying it’s the stupid party.” He thought this was a horrible statement for a Governor to make because it was something that could come back to haunt you when the Democrat’s now will turn around and use it against you. Trump told fellow conservatives he believed a Party that spent four hundred million dollars on ads that made Obama look like a super hero was a failure, and that spending money like this with not one victory showed something was seriously wrong.
About himself, he revealed he’d made over eight billion dollars in his life and employed tens of thousands of people. When he filled out his financial forms (when considering running for President in 2012) people were surprised. He said he was continually criticized by “total light weights” – guys in dirty shirts who would say about him, “Donald Trump? He’s nothing.”
Donald went on to explain people liked success and though he liked Mitt Romney, he felt the one mistake he made was that he didn’t talk enough about his success and the great things he did. He reflected they were on the defensive instead of being on the offensive where they should have been.
In regards to Iraq, Trump said we spend 1.5 trillion dollars there and we lose great great young people – for what? He said at first he was told it was for the oil, so he thought, okay, I get that – but we didn’t take the oil. He reminded viewers we’re the second largest oil reserve after Saudi Arabia. He believes for soldiers that are killed we should give those parents a million dollars for the son they lost because a million dollars is nothing compared to the money over there.
He described how he just had to place a huge order for televisions from South Korea. Why? People asked him why he didn’t buy the televisions here. “We don’t make televisions here anymore,” he explained.
“We’re run by either very foolish or very stupid people. Our country is a total mess. What we need is leadership,” he opined. He projected if we build and grow our economy, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security all can be affordable again when we have a strong economy. North Dakota has a great supply of energy, but we can’t go get it, he mused, so we go to Saudi Arabia to get it! They can’t believe what they’re getting away with. “The Republicans, and the Democrats, say we gotta cut, we gotta cut, we gotta cut…it’s because we’re not cutting the mustard!”
In closing, Trump said, “We have to bring money in and take back our jobs from China. We have to start building again, manufacturing again and our problems will be solved. Let’s make this country strong again!” The Donald left the stage to strong applause.

American Otto Warmbier (December 12, 1994 -June 19, 2017), taken by the North Koreans and subjected to the severity of their labor camps, died two days ago after being sent home to the U.S. from this communist country in a coma.
Apparently under President Obama’s administration, Warmbier wasn’t even worth a Twitter hashtag tweet – “BringBackOurOtto,” for example. Obama’s First Lady Michelle, made such an effort on the social media site when learning 276 young school girls were taken by an extremist Nigerian group “Boko Haram.” Days later she said her husband was doing “everything possible” to help Nigeria bring the girls back.
A New York Times report, for whatever this is worth these days, reported the U.S. Air Force had now sent dozens of personnel to the area to use drones to help find the kidnapped girls. Officials did follow up and said the girls had been found but they could not be saved because too many people could have been killed, perhaps even the innocent girls themselves. The White House moved on.
Otto Warmbier, made the naïve mistake of visiting North Korea in January of 2016. A University of Virginia college student from Ohio, he apparently was being watched by the North Korean government, during a five-day tour in January of 2016 which he had seen advertised while he was touring China. Maybe five days seemed to be a safe entry and exit time for a curious twenty-one year old who as class salutatorian gave his fellow high school seniors their graduation speech.

North Korea alleges he stole a sign from a wall in the hotel where he was staying promoting the leadership of Kim Jong-il. A couple of months later, they produced a video of low quality as proof to their claim, but there is no clear image of Warmbier and its arguable whether it was him at all.
For this, Warmbier was picked up at the airport while standing in line the last of his five day tour to leave North Korea for theft, and sentenced to fifteen years of hard labor. Warmbier is seen on video in North Korean court in February of 2016 confessing to stealing the banner but no one knows whether he did this under intimidation or some false promise that if he admitted to doing this he would be released. A U.S. envoy was sent on his behalf once, in March, but he met with no success.

A month after his trial, it’s reported Warmbeir somehow experienced a medical incident that left him with severe brain trauma, information not produced by North Korea and only learned after his release. Otto’s parents desperately wanted to get their son out of the labor camp and bring him home to America, but Mr. Warmbeir says he and his wife were told by the Obama administration they could not participate in any negotiations between the U.S. and North Korea and to keep quiet.

On June 12, 2017, Rex Tillerson, the United States Secretary of State, announced that North Korea had released Warmbier, and that the U.S. State Department secured Warmbier’s release at the direction of President Donald Trump.
Otto Warmbier was flown home on June 13, 2017. Unable to walk or talk, carried off of the transport to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, doctors were unable to bring him out of his coma. Physicians claim his condition came from a severe heart attack and that no signs of abuse were found on his body. Even though he was able to breath on his own and blink his eyes, he failed to recover and died on June 19th, 2017. Otto’s father has stated he does not believe anything the North Korean’s have said in terms of what happened to his son.
Twenty-two years old, gifted, loved and wanting to explore the world at its best and its worst, what happened to Otto Warmbier, is an alarming and sad reminder to what happens to American’s abroad, as well as other civilians, more and more today in both free and communist countries. Shame on our governments that allow this to continue to happen. It’s much more serious than a hashtag. Rest in peace, Otto.
United States of America’s 45th President, Donald J. Trump, celebrated his 71st birthday today. If you did not hear this on the mainstream media, except for perhaps a passing or condescending note, don’t be surprised. The President, loved by millions of Americans and people throughout the world, despite what the liberal press wishes you to believe, enjoyed his special day with his loved ones, public and private.
Of course, it would have been quite the opposite if failed Democrat Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had won. The media would have shown Americans countless hours of how she celebrated from waking hours, cake, gifts, and well-wishes from celebrities and world leaders throughout the day. They even would have found former President Bill Clinton to join the occasion for a feel-good video clip to make the event that much more memorable.
Fine President Trump, humble, focused and dedicated to his job at hand, showed only on his Facebook home page homage to two other important notable anniversaries falling on this day: Flag Day and the United States Army.
{Editor’s Note: Regrettably, on this same day, a supporter of U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders, who ran for the democrat nomination in 2016 challenging former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, chose today to appear at a softball practice and randomly shoot the Republican Congress team and staff who were preparing for a game against their Democrat Congressional members for a charitable cause. Fortunately, no one died except the shooter from wounds after return fire from Capitol Police.}
UPDATE: Congressman Steve Scalise’s condition, after receiving a bullet in his hip, has become critical after the shooting but has now improved to the point he is out of danger. Three others who were injured are also expected to survive.
Sadly, Scalise will need multiple surgeries for his status to regain a normal condition at best. Scalise, the elected five-term Congressman from Louisiana’s first district was visited by President Trump who told the press he is a true patriot and fighter. The lone Capitol security on hand bearing arms saved all on the field from potentially being killed or injured when he returned fire and brought the gunman down, while his two colleagues kept the shooter down. The gunman asked outside if those practicing were Republican or Democrat. Hearing they were Republican, he entered the field, took aim and started shooting.}

The wife of United States President Donald J. Trump turned 47 today and could not be lovelier. The former model who has been married to Trump for twelve years after their wedding in January of 2005, began a relationship with the real estate mogul six years before his becoming the 45th President.
Born in Slovenia, once part of Yugoslavia, to hard working parents, the multilingual First Lady went on as a young adult to model in Milan and Paris before moving to New York City in 1996, where she became a cover model for many magazines. The second First Lady to be foreign-born after the wife of John Quincy Adams (the sixth POTUS), she is the first to be a naturalized citizen of the United States.
The First Lady and The President of the United States have one son, Barron. He joins an extended family from Trump’s two previous marriages who all admire their father/ex-husband and participate in his positive goals for the future of this country. Americans rejoice in celebrating both Melania Trump on her birthday today and President Donald J. Trump for being a critical piece in making America great again.

UPDATE: The numbers: Though the promoted Democrat candidate in the Georgia Congressional special election received the most votes cast at 92, 390 votes which gave him 48.1%, again, short of the 50% plus one to avoid a runoff for the House seat, the other four democrat candidates combined only earned 1,521 more making a total of 93,911 votes cast for Democrats, adding an extra .9% to their party total, or 49%. With eleven Republicans appearing on the ballot, splitting their numbers widely among voters who vote Republican, the winning candidate earning the most among them, Karen Handel, receiving 37, 993 and 19.8%, the other ten candidates received 60,004 more votes making a total of 97,997 votes cast for Republicans, adding an extra 31.2% to their party total, or 51%. The two Independents on the ballot earned 176 votes together. These numbers and the history of the district show in the upcoming runoff, Handel will keep the seat Republican. Long pocketed liberals and democrats who care to send more millions to Ossoff, in hopes for an upset can do so, but they shouldn’t bet the house on it.
UPDATE: Results from Tuesday’s Special Election congressional race in Georgia’s sixth district, have the left in the media narrating today Jon Ossoff’s failure to win the seat last night as a big success. Unable to achieve the necessary fifty percent plus one to avoid a runoff against the Republican challenger who garnered the highest percent out of eleven candidates competing on the ballot, he now will face another election day on June 20th with former Secretary of the State, Republican Karen Handel.

Only the left could skew the fact that Ossoff, despite an astounding cache of eight million dollars in his campaign treasure chest and a divided Republican ticket that gave voters eleven different choices on who to vote for in the Republican Party, somehow was victorious yesterday because he almost reached the needed fifty percent, coming in with 48%. If a candidate has eight million dollars, an out pour of support nationwide from Democrat and liberal advocates, celebrity endorsements and no direct competition in terms of a one-on-one race in a very Republican district and can’t bring in a win, that’s pretty bad. Quite a loss, actually. Handel campaigned with a mere seventy-five thousand.
Returning numbers show Ossoff failed to win the popular vote, as well.
Update: Networks Reporting Democrats Feeling Good About Tonight’s Georgia Special Election Results
With 95% of Ossoff’s contributions coming from out of state, results will determine if elections can be be bought regardless of voter registration percentages or candidate experience. Ossoff has raised over eight million dollars for his first foray into any elected official status with an eighth of that total alone belonging to the Daily Kos, a liberal advocacy site.

The big political story today is the special election race in the state of Georgia’s U.S. Congressional district six. With polls about to close, and voter fraud nothing new in this country, regardless of any denial by those who commit it or the mainstream media who continue the regular narration that this is not true, unless it benefits those they support, the country will see tonight why and how elections are won in politics.
This long held Republican seat has been held for decades since conservative and long-serving Republican Party veteran, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, won in 1978. The seat was vacated when President Donald J. Trump made the current now former Congressman Tom Price his Health and Human Services Secretary.
Democrat leadership and their followers who still wake in a state of disbelief that President Trump won in November 2016 in such a large way he carried multiple states that have traditionally voted blue or democrat, to the point their party candidates don’t even have to put much campaigning time on their calendars for those areas. They somehow still perceive American’s who voted for Trump realize now the mistake they’ve made and would rush back into the voting booth to vote for Hillary Clinton, and still fail to recognize why Mrs. Clinton was a terrible candidate.
The glimmer of hope for Democrats both nationwide and statewide, is the fact that Clinton only lost to Trump by a little over one percent in November in this district. Democrats like to believe this is because the long held Republican voters here actually thought Clinton would be a better choice than Trump. Conservatives in the Republican Party believe Trump was perhaps too moderate for voters and stayed home giving Clinton a seemingly false advantage in final results.
These statistics have given Democrats in power reason to flush the district with enormous amounts of money to support their candidate, Jon Ossoff, who has held no former political office and does not even technically live in the district. In their vision, this would show America that the tide is turning their way.
Ossoff, a former congressional aide who now makes documentary films, needs fifty percent plus one to win this evening without a runoff. The customarily held turnout for Democrats will be their usual lemmings-to-the-cliff call to action, where they will all for one vote for the thirty year old Ossoff, who they have chosen over four other party contenders.
Republicans on the other hand, do their usual divide rather than unite act, which is really the only reason this seat is in contention at all. It’s unfortunate Georgia GOP State Chair, John Padgett, was unable to do a better job of uniting his party and multiple contenders behind one candidate to make a solid victory easy. Eleven GOP members are on the ballot none willing to step down for the arguably best candidate to win. This leaves a fractured vote from their caucus, however strong, to insure Ossoff wins less than fifty percent tonight.
This contest has led to President Trump using his Twitter account to make Get Out The Vote Tweets on the Republican side, to film actor (Samuel Jackson “Pulp Fiction”) making a radio ad to fellow democrats to not stay home on Election Day and help get rid of Trump.
Former Congressman Price won with a whopping 24% lead over his opposition last cycle.

Political analysts believe if somehow enough Republicans vote for one or two preferred candidates in their party, the runoff which would be held on June 20th, would most likely ensure this district stays red, or in Republican leadership, despite how many tens of thousands or more are pumped into the race before voting day

Augusta, GA – For those who have watched Sergio Garcia enter the pro golf circuit back in the late nineties, and thought he would have won a major tournament long before now, it was an exciting conclusion to the 2017 Masters tournament in Augusta. Leading over Justin Rose by two from the beginning of the fourth and final day, Rose playing with perfection and starting to look like he was already wearing the traditional green jacket winners receive after this achievement that gives them a lifetime invitation to play the tournament every year for as long as they choose, Rose after consecutive birdies, went ahead by one point.
After the 18th hole, the two players with some good putts and some bad ones were tied and had to go into a playoff. The fourth in line of the score board of pro golfers who had failed to win a major tournament with 73 losses behind him, and a reputation for choking when it came time to excel and close the deal, he went into the playoff with a tough monkey on his back. Rose has one major under his belt, after winning the U.S. Open in 2013, so confidence in terms of an end game maybe gave him an edge.
Returning to the 18th hole for the playoff, Sergio, the gallery on the sidelines and viewers watching the televised contest across the world, were both thrilled and relieved when Sergio sunk the needed birdie to break the tie and win what some consider to be the most important major to win in professional golf. For Justin, there are still many majors ahead he can live to fight another day.
