Rush Limbaugh: On Loan From God

February 17, 2022

Written by Juliana Simone

The one year anniversary of the passing of radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh hit fans hard today. I’m sure it hit his wife Kathryn the hardest. That said, so many people loved Rush and were touched by his radio presence every day.  Although countless listeners never even met him, they felt a personal relationship with the man behind the golden EIB microphone he referred to almost daily. His listeners were instantly comforted when his radio show started, as Rush chortled over any negative news from the left, the swamp, or other global news, reciting the many facts that the mainstream media left out.

His positive attitude was so strong and genuine; it erased any concerns or fears for millions of followers as he performed his usual rustling of papers from which he read real news stories.  He added his well executed commentary to pertinent sound bites which targeted people who did not promote a free America, who were scandalized personally either from the political arena or as hypocrites, or who were enemies of the United States.

Rush’s brilliance he described as just to be fair, half his brain was tied behind his back. His patriotism was so devout he left behind a library of books for children that explained real history with true facts; facts that get erased from now typical lessons each year. His love of God and our Country shined in the three hours his program aired daily five days a week and throughout the year except for a rare vacation. His love of golf, the private jet he worked hard for, and the charitable work he rarely spoke about gave him some solace. Sadly, so did the cigars that must have contributed to his early death by lung cancer; hard to say as some smokers live much longer lives.

He candidly spoke about his terminal illness and shared how he made it through many months beyond what his Doctors thought he would. As Kathryn told his audience the day after he was called to a higher place, he did not know the day that would become his last broadcast was going to be his final show.

We all wish he did, in that perhaps he would have given us a special message or story or some small thing he hadn’t already told us…but perhaps God intended it this way, as he’d already provided us with such a wealth of information both personally and professionally. You are missed, Rush Limbaugh.

Many thanks to President Donald J. Trump who awarded him the Medal of Freedom as time was growing thin – a well-deserved honor.

One of the favorite things I heard a commentator say after Rush left this Earth was, “I like to think that he has his hearing back now and he’s really enjoying listening to the music he loved so much.” Beautiful thought – and probably true. The Rush we knew would most assuredly want to be back in his studio fighting the fight he fought so well for decades, setting the record straight, giving peace to his audience and loving every minute of it…but I’m sure where he is now, he is very happy, too.

Fox News Network: The Expedient Response with a Second Christmas Tree

It’s still worth posting tonight how impressive it was that the Fox News Network raised if not an exact replica of the original fifty foot artificial tree put up this Christmas season, a second one within around 24 hours. In the wake of some person with a criminal history, an arrest was made soon after the crime on seven counts including arson and criminal mischief.  The man said in his own words he’d thought all day about burning down the tree, but because it’s New York City that has liberal criminal law, his offense was reduced to three counts.

Fox News Media said in a statement, “We will not let this deliberate and brazen act of cowardice deter us. We are in the process of rebuilding and reinstalling a new tree as a message there can be peace, light and joy even during a moment like this.” Thanks were also given to the NYFD and NYPD for their prompt response and resourcefulness.

CA Recalls: Why Davis and Not Newsom

September 22, 2021

Written by Juliana Simone

The reason why Gray Davis lost his seat as Governor in 2003 when voters said yes to his recall, and why Gavin Newsom kept his seat as Governor in 2021 comes down to three things. They’re really quite basic.

First and foremost is the mere factor of time. Almost two decades have passed and in CA, where the liberal legislative majority rules the once Golden State, spoon fed voters young and old have by majority bought into their rhetoric in terms of what is good and what is bad for our country and California. Little to none is true, but nevertheless, the daily messaging has taken hold. The people who live there are ripe for this pablum, having lived there myself for over a decade, and their majority vote should not be surprising to Americans. Unlike many commentators’ thoughts I read after the results, as much as I understood their negative remarks against Californians, such as, “you’ll get what you ask for,” I don’t agree as I feel for the many people there who don’t want these people in office and want to see their state turn around for the better. Geographical red/blue maps post elections show much of CA is conservative or Republican but they can’t win over the massive numbers of the liberal southern and northern hubs.

Secondly, syndicated conservative radio host, Larry Elder, the favorable opponent to Newsom in the September 14th recall vote, is an admirable and accomplished Black man, but not in the right Party as a Republican. Ask the brilliant Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, or his predecessor Thurgood Marshall; Accomplished former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; Gifted Neurosurgeon Ben Carson; U.S Senator Tim Scott (R-SC). The list is long, actually. All of these amazing people would be lauded 24/7 by the mainstream media and the left, if they only had a D by their name and ran as democrats.

Third and last, Newsom is part of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s cartel, and she made clear in a public appearance that she supported her nephew-through-marriage the evening before the recall vote. This is no small thing in California as politics go. With no lauds available for Newsom on September 13th, the last day for pro get out the vote speeches for the unpopular Governor, as he has created such a large exodus from the state they lost a Congressional seat in re a reduction of population, all the liberals from President Biden to Vice President Harris who flew out there to save him could say about why the people of California should vote for him, was…wait for it…he’s not Trump! Ah, the go-to mantra for the left when another unimpressive failing candidate who has no merits or record to stand on needs something – anything – for why they should be elected. In California, the anti-Trump rhetoric works well enough to get even the most shameful people into office. Fortunately for the rest of America, that’s not the case almost anywhere else, as we all know.

What I admire about Larry Elder, aside from his coming out of South Central Los Angeles to graduate from Brown University and the University of Michigan to then practice law for ten years before his becoming a radio talk show host, is his concession speech. He closed saying , “We may have lost the battle, but we sure as hell are going to win the war.” That is the spirit, gumption and tenacity needed.

NEXT POST: WHY WE LOVE CLINT

Actor and Director Clint Eastwood has one of the longest careers in Hollywood for a multitude of reasons. All of them because he exudes talent. I’ve had this outline in my draft folder for too many years. It’s hard to comment on someone so great, but fellow writers who respect my work have encouraged me for some time to put this up. With sincere homage, read “Why We Love Clint.” This will be a detailed piece, and will include why my three favorite Eastwood films are: “American Sniper,” “Bird,” and “The Bridges of Madison County.”

The BEST ST. PAtRICK’s Day FiLM – “The QUIET MAN”

(1952) Amazing film that combines traditional Irish marital courting with the chemistry that makes a lifetime bond work. Another stellar movie to thank director John Ford for who is best known for his westerns, but filmed so much more, from classic interpretations of novels like “The Grapes of Wrath” to the military themed “Sergeant York”. (Ford himself was a naval officer.) The winner of five academy awards, four for best director, he gifts us with this tonight and always. Starring: John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara, Barry Fitzgerald, Ward Bond and Victor McLaglen.

Upcoming FilM POSts

Written by Juliana Simone

I have a draft folder with so many nearly-finished articles about film, I’ve told a published writer friend of mine I was leaving it to him if I died first. Like many, I’ve watched movies intently and have much to say about these productions. At this time, I’m going to catch up on my views about classics, genres, actor/actresses, writers, directors, cinematography and the audience that perceives this artistry whether as a film enthusiast, expert or standard viewer.

The Fix Is In: The Swamp Keeps Winning

From Election Eve to the Supreme Court Decision Today

December 11, 2020

I’ve refrained from writing a new post since Election Day with the incomprehensible morning results which surprised millions that suddenly somehow Joe Biden won in the wee hours of the “still counting” counties.

As President Donald J. Trump showed in his forty-five minute speech on December 2nd, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXmVUY7sP9w&t=2229s which gave detailed information of how his reelection was stolen by many corrupt machinations, the steal of his reelection continues. Even late today, the Supreme Court declined to hear the case brought by the Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton, which was joined by 18 other states after filing. https://www.texasattorneygeneral.gov/sites/default/files/images/admin/2020/Press/SCOTUSFiling.pdf

One hundred and twenty six federal House members also signed on to this suit, via an amicus brief led by Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) that included Republican House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy.

Interestingly, McCarthy’s name among 19 others was somehow omitted after a “clerical error” was discovered. With this correction, 126 Republican House Members were totaled.

“This brief presents [our] concern as Members of Congress, shared by untold millions of their constituents, that the unconstitutional irregularities involved in the 2020 presidential election cast doubt upon its outcome and the integrity of the American system of elections,” the brief read.

Lower state supreme courts in compromised swing states where voter irregularities occurred in numerous ways, were expected to rule against any of President Trump’s legal team’s lawsuits, as this is the pattern with liberal judges today. The same situation occurred in 2000 with Bush vs. Gore, when Democrat candidate former Vice President Al Gore tried to hand pick counties in the state of Florida to find ballots in his favor to pad the voter outcome using new terms such as “dimpled and hanging chads” which under magnifying glasses perhaps showed the “real intention” of a voter whose ballot was kicked out for lack of clarification.

Losing this challenge, the Democrat Party realized they needed to change how paper ballots were processed and brought in new electronic machines that would tabulate how a voters ballot was counted, by detecting filled in circles with designated pens.

Part of the pro-election law lawsuits via President Trump and others, refer to the voting machines used in swing states, made by Dominion. The controversial company has many liberal and well-known investors and was founded by some of the biggest procommunist individuals. Trying to look this up online now, it’s amusing to see how scrubbed the information on this company is after five search pages. Texas is one state on record that said they turned down Dominion when choosing ballot machines, because of the clear evidence they could easily be tampered with in terms of results.

Writing this piece could take hours and much of this can be found online outside of mainstream media sites. My point as a multi-termed Republican Town Committee Chairwoman, cable public access host for 15 years, campaign worker federal and state, blogger and reporter, is that I have zero respect for both the liberal legislators and their minions, including their media lapdogs, and the Never Trumpers. I’m not sure which is more disgusting to me. The liberals at least are tribal, however anti-American and blasphemous their agenda is which seeks to destroy life from babies to seniors to nuclear families. The Never Trumpers are not tribal, and are the enemy within whether it’s out of spite, bitterness or control. Millions of us dislike both groups intensely.

As for the Supreme Court who fails in their duties by not hearing the State of Texas case, none of these appointed judges who voted against hearing this today, should be sitting there. Either you don’t get what your job entails or you are afraid of the outcome of your decision. If it’s the latter, you’re a disgrace to our Founding Fathers and The Constitution of the United States. How many of these great men signed their names only to be brought to ruin in the end? This is who you now represent? The swamp gives you your orders and you obey? Back down? Recoil? Save yourself?

In fact, any and all people who are involved in this big “gotcha” moment against President Trump (45), since you won’t recognize the shame you should feel – to the Never Trumpers – hey, President Ronald Reagan advocates, why aren’t you following his 11th commandment? – {Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican} – and to the extreme leftists in the elected Democrat Party and their talking head tools littering our televisions and print publications, it will be interesting to see how you feel in four years after a horrendous upheaval of all things American. Understand this won’t happen again if you pull it off this time.

President Trump, who clearly won in a landslide, had to be taken down by the swamp. He ran in 2016 on draining the swamp, which millions and millions of people from all sides embraced to elect a President who cared about America and its people. But the swamp sat back after four years of coming up with every trick in the book, which failed to take back this exceptional man who had more accomplishments some say than any other president in one term, for this one bogus moment. Enjoy this fake triumph, fake win, fake news, fake “president elect.”

Remember this: Never before has any sitting president had tens of thousands of people, in states across America during one day in multiple venues for weeks, heard the chant, “We Love You!” This honor belongs only to President Donald J. Trump. We’re all still here.

Vote For PReSIDENT TRUMP – tHE Whys are long

Written by Juliana Simone

November 2, 2020

For viewers watching CNN, which is the only American news channel shown throughout Europe and many other parts of the globe, or those watching any network affiliate on their local stations every night, people viewing these broadcasts would only perceive President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, as a man who has no good qualities, and as a man who did nothing productive throughout his entire first term except perform some illegal activities. Even children are subjected to this messaging, whether through certain teachers at their schools or literature handed out to them which makes them believe our President is a bad person they should not respect in any way or vote for if nearing voting age. It’s a sad misuse of commentary whether public through media leverage and distribution, or private through unobserved classrooms throughout the education system K-12 and beyond.

The exact opposite is true from what these people with their anti-Trump agenda proclaim.

Donald J. Trump is one of the finest Presidents of the United States ever elected – and some scholars argue, perhaps the best. This analysis is based on how much he has achieved in almost four years; how many promises he has kept when seeking office as a candidate; how hard he pushed forward with continual attacks and false narratives against him on a daily basis from the press, the opposing Democrat party and the never-Trumpers. He was even impeached on totally bogus grounds bought and paid for by his former opponent in 2016, who was (and is) guilty of much more.

The huge appearances of United States citizens appearing at his nationwide rallies demonstrate how educated American voters are on all of these facts and so much more, as the tentacles run deep. Shouts of “We love you” are a new rally chant to let President Trump know how firmly our country stands behind him. His opponent on his best day had three hundred cars show up in a parking lot to beep their horns when he made an attempt at simulating a Trump event. Interestingly, attendees and objective reporters noted the horns only beeped when his opponent made an anti-Trump comment – not when he talked about proposed policy.

The vote for the left ticket, is only about the people who writers have deemed those with “Trump derangement syndrome” in that their unexplainable hatred for the sitting President exceeds any logic or acknowledgement of his accomplishments. Going into the final hours before Election Day, November 3rd, 2020, the left Democrat mantra has little to run on so they’ve chosen two talking points: Trump is responsible for the Coronavirus and Trump is a racist.

Sad. Neither is true, of course. COVID-19 came out of Wuhan, China and Trump immediately took the right steps to keep the virus from spreading worse here in America. His opponent at the time of Trump’s decision called him a xenophobe for this act. Trump being called a racist is really baseless with the left organized mainstream media reiterating to death, the tired claim that the President never said he was against white supremacy groups, and that he called felons from Mexico bringing their crime into the United States the reason we needed to build a wall.

The President made the right actions. Stop air travel from China and later parts of Europe to keep the Coronavirus from coming into our country, and stop gang members and criminals from Mexico coming into our country who would not abide by our laws and wreak their havoc here. Good decisions.

The list is long as to why President Donald J. Trump should be reelected for four years.

I’ll list a few most readers here would know: Supreme Court Justices appointed; lowest unemployment rate among all groups before the virus hit – and is now resounding back; tax cuts that made families, small businesses and corporations thrive resulting in a booming economy including eliminating obsolete burdensome regulations; taking business out of China and returning it to America; rebuilding our military that when he assumed Office was a dismal shell; returning health insurance from mandated Obamacare to consumer choice and lowering prescription drug cost; recognizing Israel’s Capitol Jerusalem and his Middle East Peace Treaty; making clean fossil fuel affordable to all Americans with record low prices; dissolving the ISIS Caliphate; renewing the Nation’s commitment to space exploration while also adding the Space Force, a new branch of the military directly assigned for defense; negotiating trade deals that created thousands of jobs in the U.S. and increased exports, the exceptional Republican National Convention that showed winning speakers with no stereotypical view of who understands Republicans and who votes for them, and the amazing First Lady given zero credit by females on the left, among many other things.

The list is long! Look it up on an unscrubbed search engine, uncensored social media network or objective website if you need more reasons to vote in our patriotic 45th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump.
